Almost on every entity In Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 you can see an "Add" and an "Add Existing" button to allow the user to 1. Create and related a new entity to the existing entity or 2. relate an already existing record to this entity.  While useful in many cases, it doesn't apply where if you're trying to inforce a 1:1 relationship (perhaps via a plugin or simply javascript).  In those cases where the system shouldn't allow 1:N, it is desired not to display this "Add Existing" button.

Re: Hide Add Existing button in CRM 4.0

Can you give some example of some entity and how to Hide the Add Existing Button?
Thanks

Re: Hide Add Existing button in CRM 4.0

Can you give an example of how to actually hide those buttons rather than commenting on something different to the intent of the title?
